"Month of Money" continues for Sam Hafertepe Jr.

World of Outlaw driver Sam Hafertepe Jr. out of Sunnyvale, TX takes the PlumbFast Racing Team to Rossburg, Ohio to race the Ollie's Bargain Outlet 360 Challenge to get a show in before the continuance of the "Month of Money" for the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaw Sprint Cars. Hafertepe put the G&H Plumbing J&J Chassis 360 Sprinter on the top spot in the heat race giving Sam a good start to the night. For the Main Event, Sam raced towards the top of the field until a last corner pass on Jason Johnson was made for the lead, but he just wasn't able to make it stick and had to settle for putting the PlumbFast Team in the number two spot to end the night. With great momentum started for the Team, Sam and the gang went to Lima, Ohio to continue the "Month of Money" with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws. Sam, being known for his qualifying efforts puts the G&H Plumbing J&J Chassis 2nd quick in the line up to start out the night at the 20th Annual Brad Doty Classic. Things then went south for the PlumbFast Racing Team when an incident in the heat race put Sam into the wall and bent the front and rear ends of the J&J Chassis. Due to the episode in the heat, Sam had to run the B-Main for the attempt of making it into the Main Event. Hafertepe was able to dominate the "B" and bring the car to the top spot guaranteeing him a starting position in the back of the Main. Sam raced his way up to the 11th spot, but having the rear end of the car not quite right from the earlier mishaps in the heat made Sam fall back into the 15th spot to end the night.

After Limaland, it was off to Eldora to for the "Knight before the Kings Royal." Sam's qualifying efforts put the G&H Plumbing J&J in the top twenty with an 18th quick time to start out the night for the PlumbFast Racing Team. Sam made the top four in the heat race finishing third which put him in the Main Event. He then raced his way up to the eighteenth spot when a sudden break in the front of the car put Sam into the turn three wall ending his night early in Rossburg, Ohio.

The 25th Annual Kings Royal was rescheduled for Sunday night since the weather didn't cooperate for the originally scheduled Saturday night show. Hafertepe went out and set a fourth quick time to start the night for Hafertepe and the gang. Sam finished fifth in the heat race and missed the transfer by one spot which put him in the 'B' main. Sam raced his way into the top four to guarantee him a spot in the 25th Annual Kings Royal and chase after that $50,000. Starting 17th and being one for moving forward through the field, Sam raced his way up to the 7th spot until an unfortunate break in the car forced Sam to pull into pits.

Next on the schedule was the Don Martin Memorial $40,000 to win event held at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA. Sam and the gang went out and qualified 4th quick, made the top four in the heat race putting Sam into the Main Event. Sam started in the 10th position and raced his way up to eighth when a car spun in front of him and Sam, with no place to go gets collected ending his chance at the 40 large. Next up for the PlumbFast Racing Team is a double header in Mechanicsburg, PA at the legendary Williams Grove Speedway with the Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws followed by a single night in West Lebanon, NY.
